As it has very few connections and joints, thus provides low resistance to the flow of the water in it. These pipes require very petite maintenance. There is no worry for pitting and the corrosion of the pipe as it is made up of flexible plastic. Pex pipe can be stored on spools and can be shipped at lower costs.
